NOTICE:

 

Township of Wakeshma

A public hearing will be held on a proposed increase of 3.0 mills in the operating tax millage rate to be levied on property in 2018.

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE on Wedneday, November 28th, 2018 at approximately 6:00pm Wakeshma Township will be holding a public hearing to take action on the proposed additional millage increase which voters approved on November 6th, 2018. If adopted, the proposed additional millage will increase operating revenues from ad valorem property taxes 155.447% over such revenues generated by levies permitted without holding a hearing. If the proposed additional millage rate is not approved, the operating revenue will increase by .53% over the preceeding year's operating revenue.

 

The taxing unit publishing this notice, and identified below, has complete authorty to establish the number of mills to be levied from within its authorized millage rate.

 

The meeting will be held at the Wakeshma Township Hall at 13988 South 42nd Street, Fulton, MI 49052.
